From January 13th to July 23th, 2022 I was studying abroad in the EU. I earned my final undergraduate credits from Maastricht University in Maastricht, Limburg, the Netherlands. I clicked submit on my last undergraduate assignment in Thessaloniki, Greece at 1:30 AM. I am in shock.
To be truthful, I had never intended on studying abroad. In the same fashion that landed me at USC, I applied though realistically my chances of actually going were slim. My reality was that study abroad cost too much. But maybe somewhere inside I had a sliver of hope that someone would smile down on me if I did all that I could. I hate giving up.
I present to you my unbelievable, against-all-odds 6 months abroad.
Currently I have moved back to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Next week I start my first post-graduate gig as a Litigation Paralegal. On the side I’ll be getting my Core Power Yoga Teaching Certification. Manifesting law school soon.
